BEWARE: Nextdoor Whitegates

NEXTDOOR WHITEGATES residents may have had a letter inviting them to join Nextdoor Whitegates. Firstly this is nothing to do with ACER, The Whitegates Residents Association. Secondly, this is not local to Whitegates and covers a very wide area , so often the ‘local’ information is not local at all. Thirdly, This has been set up by an outfit called NEXTDOOR and they want access to all your contacts…..Fourthly, once they have your name it is extremely difficult to unsubscribe. If you get a letter headed NEXTDOOR WHITEGATES claiming to be from one of your neighbours – check with them first as they may not be aware their name  is on the letter!!
