The principal reference document for ACER is the Borough Design Guide and the associated Core Strategy documents produced by WBC.

ACER Planning sub-committee operate within Terms Of Reference set out in an annex to ACER’s constitution

WBC set their own Core Strategy policies and plans which can be viewed on their website.

WBC have produced a comprehensive and detailed Borough Design Guide , which sets out guidance for planning officers and is the main reference document for ACER.  The Borough Design Guide  can be found  under  Planning/Planning Policy/Supplementary Planning Guidance and Documents/Borough Design Guide Supplementary Document

The Government sets guidelines for the number of new houses for each planning authority

The Government sets the Permitted Development rules for developments which don’t need formal Planning Approval. . Earley Town Council’s role is not that of a Design Authority, but they are happy to listen to submissions regarding any submitted applications.
